Rainbow 6 Siege Vigil
As one of Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege’s more stealthy operatives, Vigil aims to have as little footage of himself on cameras as is physically possible. He does this with a form of camouflage that makes him invisible to cameras and drones. A recent update has also given him immunity to a rather pesky operator.Vigil’s cloaking device may be great for not being seen by cameras and drones, but he also packs some good primary weapons.

Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege - White Noise Vigil Operator. Chul Kyung Hwa (Hangeul: 화철경, Hwa Cheol Gyeong), codenamed Vigil is a Defending Operator featured in Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege, introduced in the Operation White Noise expansion introduced alongside Zofia and Dokkaebi.
With good use of movement and aiming, detailed in our hub, he can be a force to be reckoned with. Vigil operator guideThis guide will go over the recent update to Vigil, as well as show you of how best to use his ability well, and the arsenal that Vigil has to dish out the pain. Vigil’s StatsArmour: 1Speed: 3 Vigil’s Weapon LoadoutsVigil’s weapons are the BOSG.12.2 shotgun and the K1A submachine gun. The K1A is more akin to a carbine than a submachine gun, but is relatively comparable to similar weapons with decent recoil and fire rate. The BOSG.12.2 is a slug shot weapon, meaning that it’s better at longer range as it fires one solid projectile rather than a spread shot, however there’s only two shots before reloading. His sidearms are the C75 Auto machine pistol and the SMG-12 machine pistol. Both boast an insanely high fire rate and a comparable recoil pattern, but the SMG-12 has more slots for attachments.
Vigil’s GadgetsWith both impact grenades and the bulletproof camera, the choice for this one is relatively straightforward. Impact grenades just suit his play style a little bit better as he is primarily a roaming defender thanks to his ability.
Therefore while information from cameras will always be useful to the team, the grenades give him a bit more to work with. Vigil’s SkillVigil’s Electronic Rendering Cloak (ERC-7) makes him a nightmare when trying to find him with drones or cameras. His ability is rechargeable and lasts a fairly long time, but has a relatively long recharge time if fully depleted. There are giveaways to his position though as drones will shimmer when he’s nearby and even emit a quiet beep if he’s within around 4 metres of the drone. His ability can also be countered by certain operators, with IQ being a particularly effective counter. The which reworks Lion, also gives Vigil a much needed buff. Whenever Lion uses his ability, Vigil can hide behind his cloak to move around freely without being detected.
This means no red dot for the opponent, and you’ll be able to get the jump on those rushing around. Should I pick Vigil? With access to a slug-based shotgun, he can be utterly devastating in terms of damage and his machine pistols are decent in a pinch. As a roaming defender, his ability has limited use when compared to a host of other defensive operators, but if the enemy seem to be relying on cameras, then a Vigil player can get the jump on them.Vigil’s style of play is rather similar to that of Caveira in that they like to not be seen or heard.
