The leveler's tower seems to have an unexpected bug when used as an.esp, perhaps in combination with some other mod, I'm not 100% certain yet.If you use leveler's tower as an.esp, soon after entering the tower, some indefinable amount of time, triggers and interactive items fail to activate.
Quest stages stop triggering, chains don't pull, levers don't move, and absolutely nothing in the tower short of the doors and crafting stations can be activated. However, converting to a master file does appear to have solved the issue, at least for me. Just thought I'd give my observation.

I think the Nexus Mod Manager is easier and it let's you have greater control over your mods.
