The next patch should put the game in a playable state start to finish. Hopefully that won’t take another 3 months, but yeah. I realize how hilariously bad 6% progress in 3 months is. Part 1.I decided to try out this game, and from the looks of it.it was fun. The story from what I got is basically MGQ.but with a few changes, I won't go through it since the game is Japanese and the translator at the time of this post is putting the translation on hold, but the gameplay is the same as your usual JRPG game with a few added features.
For starters you can build friendship with the monster girls by talking, answering the right question, and giving them stuff, doing so correctly will let the monster girls giving you stuff and/or join you on your quest.I have discover a glitch 1/4 in the game where my save won't work, and I can't load from the file, so I can't continue the game, but otherwise it is a great game and I can't wait for part 2. How it feels? Is the story really the same as the original MGQ? And can you actually get Monsters as party members?

As for your questions, It is good for MGQ fans. It feels like the original but on a different system. The story is somewhat the same with some different element in the story and multi-pathways. Yes you can, you can recruit monsters from the first game (And a few in the other chapters) as well as new monsters in the game. And I know you are waiting for a translation, but it's probably going to take it a year or so, so at lease play through until the English translation ends and see if you still want to play it.
It may include part 1 as a story, not nesesary pictures, if it included pictures from part 1 it would be 2.66GB not 2.4GB, also the version you downloaded is prepatched with old translation. Pictures folder after merging should have 7847 filesBetter get part 1 and part 2 raw seperatly and do it manually and merge pictures.The first post is a bit of a mess, all it should need to link to is part 2 raw with pictures from part 1 (or not, then just pictures from part 1), link to the bitbucket and the patching tool, the game does not need to be specially run like some other jap games so that whole instruction how to run in windows in useless., translated so far is also out of date and misleading.
